Welcome to Williamsburg Elementary Physical Education! My name is Mr. Graham and each week you can see the activities that our students were engaged in as well as many of the resources I used in my teaching. I put out these weekly posts for parents to see what their child is learning in PE as well as for other PE teachers to get ideas they can implement in their own program.
Overview of the Week
This week students continued our unit on Sport Stacking using Speed Stacks cups! Williamsburg students participated in STACK UP 2022 - which was an attempt to set a World Sport Stacking Association World Record by having the most people participate in sport stacking at multiple locations. Students built upon prior learning in various individual stacking patterns as well as performing some cooperative stacking using our jumbo stack buckets!
Cup Stacking promotes eye-hand coordination, right & left brain activation, ambidexterity, bilateral coordination and much more. Learn more by visiting SPEEDSTACKS.COM (and they make great Christmas gifts!)

My Lesson Plan Slide Decks
If you're looking for more details about the individual lessons I taught this week, you can watch these narrated lesson walkthroughs. Here you'll see the actual slide decks I create and use in class to help you gain a deeper understanding of how I teach each lesson. Click on the images to play them.
Resources
I create a lot of my own content to use in my teaching (like the slide decks above). However, this week I also found some great resources from @speedstacks, @kellidsmith, and @physedreview Be sure to visit their YouTube channels for lots of great Sport Stacking activities!
