Welcome to Williamsburg Elementary Physical Education! My name is Mr. Graham and each week you can see the activities that our students were engaged in as well as many of the resources I used in my teaching. I put out these weekly posts for parents to see what their child is learning in PE as well as for other PE teachers to get ideas they can implement in their own program.
Overview of the Week
Grades K-2 worked on the underhand throw for accuracy. After a fun follow-along video warmup, students practiced throwing at a target in 2 different activities (Decorate the Cookie & Make It Take It) that gave students multiple chances to throw from a variety of distances.
Grades 3-5 worked on both throwing and catching this week. They played Move the Mat, Make It Take, and Catch It Keep It (see videos or lessons walkthroughs below).
Students were introduced to Week 2 of October's Healthy Habits at Home contest that focused on Family!

In-Depth Narrated Lesson Walkthroughs
If you're looking for more details about the individual lessons I taught this week, you can watch these narrated lesson walkthroughs. Here you'll see the actual slide decks I create and use in class to help you gain a deeper understanding of how I teach each lesson. Click on the images to play them.
Resources Used This Week
I create a lot of my own content to use in my teaching. Here you'll find the activities I used that have activity sheets/videos available. You can find ALL my activities under the RESOURCES tab. This week, some of my lesson content came from @thephysicaleducator @fitnesshustletv and @Fix and Play
Be sure to check out all the great content they provide for the #PhysEd community!
