Each week you can see the activities that our students were engaged in as well as many of the resources I used in my teaching. I put out these weekly posts for parents to see what their child is learning in PE as well as for other PE teachers to get ideas they can implement in their own program.
Before we get into the content from this week, I just have to share some great news...WE ARE GETTING THE FULL GYM BACK AFTER SPRING BREAK!!! Okay, I'm a little excited about that since we've been on half the gym for the past 2 years with lunch taking place on the other side of the curtain for a good portion of the day. I can't wait to have access to my full teaching space without all the noise from the other side while I teach!
Grades K-2
So this week, focused on some manipulative skills with some different piece of equipment. Students were challenged with a lesson using a scoop & whiffle ball and a lesson that incorporated some balloons. We also did some Encanto themed warmup activities. Here's a look at this week.

The focus for our warm up activities this week revolved around working with a variety of different partners in some simple challenge activities...Race to 3 & Cone Flip Champions. Our older students also practiced some more advanced manipulative skills with a scoop & ball and a hoop & balloon.
