Welcome to Williamsburg Elementary Physical Education! My name is Mr. Graham and each week you can see the activities that our students were engaged in as well as many of the resources I used in my teaching. I put out these weekly posts for parents to see what their child is learning in PE as well as for other PE teachers to get ideas they can implement in their own program.
Overview of the Week
Due to several circumstances affecting regular PE classes this week, some classes only had class once or not at all. Monday was our only day of full classes with a regular schedule. Tuesday & Wednesday we had music rehearsals in the afternoon in the gym. Thursday was grandparents day in the morning (PE classes in the PM) and Friday was a no school day! So here's the short and sweet version from this week in #PhysEd...
Grades K-2 worked on 8 different balance stations as a culminating experience to the last two weeks of gymnastics. Students got to rotate through each station that incorporated a variety of unique balance equipment. Grades 3-5 did a throwing activity called "Move the Pin" where students worked primarily in partner pairs to throw or roll a ball at a foam pin and knock it down.
We also kicked off October with our Healthy Habits at Home contest where week 1 focused on Fitness!

Resources Used This Week
I create a lot of my own content to use in my teaching. Here you'll find the activities I used that have activity sheets/videos available. You can find ALL my activities under the RESOURCES tab.
