Welcome to Williamsburg Elementary Physical Education! My name is Mr. Graham and each week you can see the activities that our students were engaged in as well as many of the resources I used in my teaching. I put out these weekly posts for parents to see what their child is learning in PE as well as for other PE teachers to get ideas they can implement in their own programs.
Overview of the Week
Halloween week is always a crazy one, so we extended our bowling unit to give students extra practice rolling at a target with a couple skill application activities. We started each class with some fun holiday-themed warmup activities and then jumped right in to the main lesson. We also finished up our Healthy Habits at Home Contest for the month of October! Our grade level winners for the month were: K - Mrs. Murphy, 1st - Mrs. Cox, 2nd - Mrs. Dallke, 3rd - Ms. Crawford, 4th - Mrs. McDuffee, & 5th - Mr. Smith. Congratulations! I will have pictures to share next week.
Also, if you would like to volunteer for our upcoming roller skating unit beginning after Thanksgiving, you can sign up HERE! We need lots of help getting skates and safety gear on and off students.
